Directions:
Take I-35 north to Cloquet, MN (approximately 20 miles south of Duluth) and exit on Highway 33.
Highway 33 will bring you through downtown Cloquet before becoming a four lane highway again.
Stay on Highway 33 for 17 miles, then exit on Highway 53 toward Virginia and Cook.
Once in Cook, you want to turn right on 1st street. (main street downtown.)
Go threeblocks to the stop sign, and turn right on Vermilion Blvd.
Go three more blocks, across the railroad tracks, and take an immediate left onto Highway 24
From this point it is 13 miles to your next turn onto Kennedy Road. You will pass the resort directional sign after 3 miles, and will see Lake Vermillion on your right after 5 miles. When the pavement ends, you have just 4 miles to go.
Go left onto Kennedy Road and you'll find Elbow Lake Lodge on your right-hand side after 2 miles.
Flying Directions
Elbow Lake Lodge is closest to the Cook Municipal airport. It is a 15 to 20 minute drive. The identifier is CQM and has a GPS and NDB approach.
Seaplanes are also welcome. We are located 15 miles north of CQM.
Commercial flights come to Hibbing airport (1 hour drive), Duluth International (2 hour drive) and the Twin Cities (4 hour drive)
